In the hills of northern Nicaragua, a team of pastors and their families have begun a good work. Led by Pastor Carlos Baez, this amazing group is reaching out to families experiencing disability.  The Nicaraguan team has a history with the families. Pastor Carlos knows the children by name. He has spent many hours building trust and relationship.

In the United States, Christians from across the country have committed to joining forces. The hope is to bring education, relief, therapies but most importantly, we hope our actions declare, "You are valuable" to everyone we meet. We recognize families experiencing disability face magnified stress. These families need a safety net where they can receive life giving words of encouragement. Following Christ requires determination - they need to know they do not face their difficulties alone. Together, we are striving, side-by-side to walk out the gospel of Jesus Christ. "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." Galatians 5:13

We are the Cascabel Collective.
